My first time on the relationship forum was a couple of days ago. I happened to see it in the announcement thing near the top. I thought I would browse threw it because the city ones get kind of boring after a while. Come to my surprise alot of the comments on here are quite amusing and interesting. Just like someone said earlier I post when I feel like I need to. Not to mention it's quite educational, the more guys know about women and their deep thoughts the better we will be at figuring them out. Although we will never fully figure them out, it certainly helps.

I came here because I had reached a relationship crisis and was looking from some feedback. It was interesting at first but later, after becoming a little more active in this forum, I discovered that there were more lost souls here than I realized. Lots of folks here with broken, dysfunctional, or non-experienced relationship experience. Almost like the blind leading the blind. Sad but true.

Good Luck!

I post because:
- most of the posters are women who represent a polarized point of view
- the best antidote to "groupthink" is the "devil's advocate"
- the stuff/beliefs/situations out there can be "eye opening"

So, if you are a male, what brought you to CD Relationships and why do you post?
I was googling date ideas a few months back and somehow ended up here.

One can be more unfiltered here than IRL and there seems to a broad range of backgrounds and experiences to share and learn from.

Because when I was a lad delivering newspapers I used to periodically read Ann Landers' daily column while folding the papers. This subforum is like Dear Ann Landers. The human condition is interesting in its variety. I usually just read but sometimes I'll scratch my head, maybe laugh, maybe wonder. I often identify with other posters. And every now and then I feel compelled to give good and bad advice.

[it's also good for ideas]

I like the feed back from anonymous people even though I don't find most cd posters as being representative of the general population. Besides I totally have a thing for one of the posters who I've had on and off dialogue with!
