This story involves celebrities, but for the sake of anonymity, I'll use pseudo names instead.
Guy A is an actor, incredibly handsome and sexy, incredibly rich and famous, and incredibly talented. Needless to say, any girl would be quite lucky to marry him. He eventually fell in love and got married to an actress B. She is good-looking, has a great body, is also successful as an actress.
While they were married, B cheated on A twice, first with a fellow actor, then she met a handsome billionaire C (think Fifty Shades of Grey, and no, I haven't read that book), they hit it off immediately, soon after, B asked C out, and their affair began. C fell in love with B and got a divorce for her. A found out about the affair and tried to file for divorce but B refused, but A was dead set on getting rid of her. After negotiation, B got a hefty sum (8 figures) in the divorce settlement. The affair and the divorce were very public. A was extremely heart broken and humiliated. C proposed with a huge diamond ring, the first question B asked was "how many carats", only when she was sure that the diamond was expensive she began crying tears of joy/greed (this, she admitted in an interview). I think she broke every ethics code that I believe in. I find it very hard to wish her happy. I really don't think she deserves the love, wealth and fame that she has gotten, mainly because I don't think she is a nice person. But I suppose life really isn't fair.
/end of my rant

People Magazine isn't a trustworthy source for assessing the reality of people's private lives. Try not to base your decisions or moral code on it.
Thanks for your reply.
I didn't list the names precisely because they don't matter and I don't want people getting distracted from the core issue. Even if this story is non-existent it doesn't change the fact that life isn't fair in some cases and awful girls do get away with doing awful things.
The only magazines I read and subscribe to are B&W and National Geographic's Traveler.

Also: nice people get good jobs, have loving relationships and live long, happy lives.
