Like you go out to a bar then text people afterwards to see if anything else is going on?
Man, I swear to god there's at least one thread a day which really makes me wonder how certain people can be so stupid. To avoid TOS I'm going to say this thread MIGHT be one of those.
I've learned to turn off the phone after a night drinking. The temptation to text 5's that are slam dunks after striking out at the bar or party is too much and I always end up regretting it the next morning.

Eh. Seems like a pretty juvenile thing to do really. I have a friend who does this and she tweets drunk too...she thinks she's hilarious, but it's actually pretty pathetic.

I haven't been "drunk" in about 15 years nor do I hang out with people who get drunk. As a result I have never received a drunk text.
I never heard of this and cannot relate. Can't understand why some do this and apparently brag about it.
Adding - please, please, anyone who does this - do not get behind the wheel. Hopefully these drunk texters are taking another means of transportation to get home.
Well I don't drink anyway so I don't have to worry about that. People who do things like that and flaunt how drunk they are/were are very irritating and immature.
The only thing someone should be doing that is drunk is sleeping it off. It is best to not text, email, get into an argument etc. because they can all turn out bad.
