Well, after reading the whole thing, I think you are basically the free babysitter and the shield that protects your "girlfriend" from the suspicions of the worker's wife. Shoot, she even
joked about it to the worker in front of you!
Why did she hire an obviously incompetent contractor, one that lives 3 hours away, to work on her home? And if he has so many "jobs" in the area, why can't he afford a cheap motel room? I would think she would be able to find a reputable contractor on Angie's List, one that is actually competent
and affordable
and doesn't have to sleep at her place. Bizarre. The worst red flag with the worker situation? It's the fact that you mention she has an actual history with "workers," specifically where she has been accused of having sex with them by their partners. Sounds like a really lame amateur porn plot to me.
What is flat-out disturbing is that she doesn't know you, at least not well enough by any means to leave her child alone with you, much less invite her child to sleep in the bed with the both of you. She leaves you alone with said child to run off to Home Depot for hours with the worker? I'm guessing she doesn't know him that well, either. So, this "genius" has two strange men sleeping in her home with a young child present. You gotta know that something is wrong with that picture!!
She's sick and extremely twisted. She's obviously a huge contributor to the problems her child is experiencing. She's not fit to be a parent, and that's putting it as mild as milk. Everything about her and this situation is a huge frickin' red flag waving in your face. Even if she had some redeeming qualities, there is no way that those could out-weigh the negative.
