Well a man should be balanced...I don't know about calling yourself a 'metrosexual' though, that seems like a strange term for a grown man to self apply
Why? He is happy that way and she seems happy with him being that way too.
I didn't say there was anything wrong with living that way, whatever 'that way' may be, I just said the term itself is odd for a grown man to call himself. It is word of teenagers and hollywood gossip people, not usually something regular adult men apply to themselves.

Well my husband wouldn't introduce himself or really ever refer to himself as a "metrosexual" but would admit that the term probably applies.
The cop who arrested him? Could have been a women, could have been a crooked male cop, who knows. Cops are just people they aren't any better than the rest of us.
You're missing the point. Tattoos and a rapsheet doesn't make you manly. In fact you forfitted some of *it* when you developed a criminal record. I like my status at the current time. GW was the President, yet showed no signs of feminine characteristics. I recall seeing pics of him on his ranch driving his Ford F-350 Super Duty around and hunting with some of his friends. Now that's what I'm talking about.
That was my original point, the first thing you mention.
GW was no man. He was a spoiled child. He was irresponsible and foolish and arrogant.
Responsibility is the number one manly virtue. GW took none for his actions. Under his watch, Americans lost security and privacy, the national debt grew, tens of thousands of innocents were killed, regular citizens were spied on, and many more, and yet he sits there grinning like a fool, never owning up to anything he has done. You call that a man? Any chump can buy a truck. It takes a man to own his actions. GW was a rich kid who never had to pay the price for his actions.

I think what the OP is getting at. I don't think you need to put up the defensive, as I don't think many women simply believe that simply partaking in certain activities like baking makes one any less of a man or more gay. I mean if Vin Diesel or something baked cookies would that change who he was? I mean he'd still behave the same, have the same mannerisms.etc.
There is just a vibe you pick up. Now from experience I know many straight men - at least outwardly straight men - who acted this way and who you could easily mistake as gay. How many of them are closeted I couldn't tell you. I've also known some you'd never suspect who were gay. So unless it was very hard to ignore then it's a matter of trust, isn't it? Trust that he isn't pulling a number on you for whatever reason (which I doubt). Is he religious? Does he have a homophobic family/does he live in such an environment? I guess it's a bit like being a detective, eliminating possible 'motives' if you like lol.
I dated a feminine guy (he could go either way though- could get dirty fixing his car, but had the mannerisms for the most part as fem). Spent MANY years with him and got used to him being really nice and complimented me daily, along with always being able to TALK. He was very attentive for the most part. I eventually ended it as I stopped being attracted to him (and many other reasons), but now it's been HARD to deal with REAL men. Not as attentive or talkative, etc. I can't tell you how hard it is to accept. I don't know how I feel about it now. I don't regret all those years with him by any means, but damn I didn't realize the difference! Good luck!
