I update my phone list each month and if it's someone I haven't talked to in 3 or 4 weeks I delete them,
Like Ruth said, thus you create the problem. If you really think someone you haven't talked to in 3 weeks isn't worth remembering why get mad when she realizes that's how you feel? I know plenty of people that I don't talk to for a month or so at a time and that it would seem rude not to recognize them when they text.
Even when I get what I think is a wrong number text I am polite about it. "Sorry I don't recognize this # who's this?" "your name's not coming up, who am I talking to?"
"Who is this?" can be read with a snarky tone especially if she knows you've recognized her texts before. She then knows you deleted her. She hasn't heard from you in 3 weeks but obviously didn't delete your #.
several women have done this going all the way back to 2000.
Soooo....12 years of this and you STILL haven't learnt to keep their numbers?
Are you a slow learner or what?
