I am a 40 year old woman being pursued by a 25 year old man.I spent 18 years of my life married so,I am not easy nor ignorant. However, companionship is something we all need. So,I am really confused and clueless about this whole situation.

Then, enjoy the companionship. After being married for 18 years, you can see that wasn't "forever". We have all been programmed to think that things will last forever; they don't, not the grass, not your flowers, not your life....live in the now!

There is nothing to be confused about. Enjoy him while it last and walk away with the nice smile he gives you.

For me it's about compatibility. If I am on a different level when it comes to everyday life, conversations, and he is still in " I need to f--- everything in site mode" its not going to work. I am in a "been there done that" mode and I don't have time for men that haven't even gotten to that point yet.

It doesn't make that person a bad choice, just may be better suited for someone closer to his own age group. I prefer older men period.
