Outside of date-type activities our shared hobbies are limited to cooking, TV/movies, finding cool restaurants, etc. We each have individual hobbies that we do separately which I think is awesome because it allows us each to retain our own identities and take some recreational time outside of the relationship. However, it would be fun for us to take up a hobby or two together as well.

What hobbies outside of your typical date activities do you do together on a regular basis? Would you recommend any of them? I'd love to hear about all of them. Tennis? Art? Cycling? Musical instruments? What do you enjoy as a couple?

Hiking, camping, backpacking, traveling, volunteering - and I highly recommend them all

If I could meet a man who liked to tinker with engines and who was a hobby pilot I'd probably pass out with joy.

So, future couple hobbies?

We don't really have any "couple" hobbies. I guess we both like to go to hockey games and baseball games....that's about it.

I indulge him and go on the boat when he asks, but I secretly hate it.

I love to tinker with engines and anything mechanical. I have also been thinking about becoming an A&P mechanic.

I'm an A&P, going back to school to get my NDT certs, then off to get my Bell helicopter certs.

It's straight-up dreamy to have shared hobbies that you both love to do and not just doing the hobby to please the other. I think it's especially good if it's an activity where you two make a team and compete against other teams. The competition aspect of it adds something extra to the bonding experience.
