I was just at a party at some club given for a friend of mine who is 33 and I'm 47. I was by far the oldest guy there. That said, I'm superficial as hell. I luckily have more hair than any of the younger guys, and I take anabolic steroids regularly to stay lean and muscular through my workouts. I'm 6'1" and muscular. I was great looking when I was in my 20's and 30's. Women used to show me blatant interest back then. Unfortunately, I think I developed too much of a need for female validation in the process.
Despite all that, I had real low chances with the women this time. Why? Because I'm over 40 now, which is a plague for younger women. No matter how great looking I was in my 20's and 30's.
I'm already married, but I was trying to see what would happen "if". My conclusion .. over 40 = sexual oblivion. The realization was quite depressing. I need to come to terms with this before another ten years go by.

Anabolic steroids, just like any other drug, depends on how you use it. Using small doses of anabolic steroids has not shown to be harmful in anyway; in fact, with some steroids it causes a therapeutic affect. Anabolic steroids are also administered to cancer/AIDS patients to prevent the muscle tissue from wasting away.
Are steroids dangerous? Yes, but smoking and the use of alcohol (which is all legal without a prescription) causes much more damage and has caused more problems overall. In fact, I knew a doctor who told me he has no idea why alcohol is legal, he said alcohol has caused more deaths and more problems than anything else he has seen.

Why should he date a woman his own age? A woman who is 40 is either married or she's single with kids and not really a good choice of a woman to date.
He would be better off dating a woman in her late 20's. Young women like and respect older men and young women don't have all the baggage that comes along with older divorced women.
Yeah I would tend to support your generalization. Unless they are lookin for money, a lo of women in their 20's and 30's won't date men in their 40's. That said, not sure why some men in their 40's insist on trying to date women so much younger than them. They'd have better luck dating within their own age bracket. Plus I see many attractive women in their 40's (at least where I live).

What is this, the Gospel According to Cali? What about the 40-somethings on our own forum who are neither married, nor divorced, nor with kids? Get a clue! It's quite common these days for women to build their careers and then start looking for a mate once they're established. Some women (like some men) haven't found anyone yet by 40. I don't see you painting the OP and all other 40-something men with this brush. Time for a reality check.

You say that, but not too long ago, I was working at a place with hundreds of people on site. The one woman the guys of all ages lusted after and talked about the most was 49. She would stop traffic walking outside. I've seen this quite a few times.
I've seen plenty of 50+ year old women that were absolute jawdroppers. But then again, they were all pretty serious about taking care of themselves. I think a woman in her 40's and 50's who looks athletic is a major turn-on. I know I'm not the only one who thinks so. I'm willing to bet there's a legion of young so called "milf hunters" out there would enthusiastically agree with me.
