I wonder if they truly believe their own words. They speak disrespectfully of women, sexist about women, call women names, and then they claim to be nice guys. It's a bit crazy.

Perhaps thats why i rarely get rejected and have no problem attracting women at all. Odd how that works, huh? =)

Agreed There are some awesome dudes on here, but a lot of them make me sad.
I will say though, regarding 'lowering their standards', if the women's standards were at the men's level they wouldn't be complaining, they'd be lauding the women on their good choices. If the women's standards are any higher, they're 'obviously asking for too much' because they're looking for men better than themselves. So, maybe it's a blow to their self esteem and ego that a woman would demand more than they can offer and so they bag on the women for having 'high standards'?
I say this because I got in an argument with a male friend of mine yesterday night about standards and he says mine are too high because I won't date a pot smoker. He's a regular smoker. I think he was butthurt that he wasn't 'good enough' for me because of it and decided to blame my standards instead.
