Women would rather have a Chris Brown then a nice guy (movies, how to)

Is that a super popular puzzle or something? I don't know puzzles. The last puzzle I did was a 200 piece GoBots puzzle when I was like 10, and I spilled Grape SqueezeIT all over it and my mom hollered at me.
Dude/dudette: I have no idea. I've never done a puzzle, I can't think of anything that would bore me more.
The point of my post was the poster had a good time - I'm sure I would have a great time doing the same with my SO. We always say we have a better time grocery shopping together than other couples night on the town.
The POSTER had a great time - that's the sign of a good match, whether it worked out or not.
The point of my puzzle story was that it was just a goofy little activity that didn't cost any money to do and it worked out really well because we had a great time doing it! Point being you don't have to spend a ton of money on a date to have a good time like the OP seems to think.

Best date I ever had - We sat in a Starbucks and put a puzzle together for 3 hours. Just talked, had a coffee or two, and worked on that puzzle. Perfect day.

It's actually a bit of a craze. All the cool kids are doing them.
art gallery opening (they typically have free food and drinks. If you like the girl, then go out for dinner after. At the very least you can talk about the good/crappy/interesting art
small, specific museum. Places like MOMA are huge, but I know there is some kinda random museum in your town. The random ones tend to have low cost admission, and can be finished in an hour or two. (We have the Cartoon Art Museum and a Pinball Museum)
Coffee tasting: do you have a fancy coffee shop? That brews individual cups? Instant date. Get a flight of 2 or 3 coffees and try them side by side. Upgraded from the basic coffee date, but still cheap
Street festival or farmers market: stuff to see and stuff to talk about.

OMG, sounds like torture. I hate puzzles. But chess, connect four, sorry, or checkers would work out just fine. Or Uno!
Board games are great fun.
The best date I had was an atari party. Some art gallery bought a bunch of ataris on ebay, and had them set up for different games. Pacman, ******* etc. Wow, it was a blast!
