I am 34. I am going to pick 26-30 for now since I keep meeting cute ones in this age group. And they seem to think I am that age or younger anyway. Not ready to get too settled yet so they are a good match.
Do you prefer to be in a relationship with a 26-30 guy?
To be fair, 18-25 shouldn't really be put into the same category. An 18 year old dude is a high school senior or college freshman whereas a 25 year old dude is 5 years away from 30 and usually 3 years removed from college.
This reminds me of a story. I have some college friends in SoCal who got married. They were Hispanic. She had a Filipina friend she used to pal around with. I asked them, "So, what's (name of Filipina) doing? Is she married?" My friend said "No, she's holding out for a guy who is 10 years younger, has money, and is Anglo." *Visualized cobwebs*
That's typical in California. People are materialistic there.
In terms of looks, men are best around 35. Most men hit the wall at 40 (and so do women). I would not date a 35 year old, but if I were in the market for a one night stand that is where I'd end up.

Sometimes it works. Sometimes they are too "immature." Someone my age would be OK. But I also find many people my age aren't all that different than the 26-30s anyway.
I am not in a mad rush to get married/settled/have kids.
The older men are in that phase, and I'm not there yet.
