I know for a fact with a new person I get nervous talking to them on the phone. So yeah i try to joke or try my best to pay attention.

She is a Ravens Fan and I figured I could talk about football until we hung out. And then she had a nerve to ask me....."So are you going to call again" lol

You can talk about sports but once she changed the subject then you move to the next topic. Until you master the art of conversation heres what i recommend. Before you call a woman, write down 5 to 6 topics that you would like to discuss. That way you can easily keep the conversation going. BUT you dont wanna talk to long, your goal is to set up a meeting.
