Sparse eyebrows are a deal-breaker?
Did I say that? I just said she doesn't look so good to me, and I find most girls attractive.

Cooking together would involve being in either her or your kitchen. Might be a little too personal at this stage
Yeah, but I figure it could be a group thing, with friends, so she doesn't get uncomfortable. I and/or her could invite people over.
Thoughts?
And how about group date things in general as a way to revv conversation/interaction?

For example?

If your not feeling her, then you should move on. No need to waste time.

You said she had sparse eyebrows and that it was weird, you listed that among the negatives.

Whatever's of mutual interest; business, politics, anthropology, human rights, social justice, science, whatever. I've found it tends to grab people's attention, like Duck said, when you move fairly quickly into the more interesting topics, and speak from the heart.

ok, it just sounded like you viewed it as enough of a negative to make her not worth pursuing. My bad, if I misunderstood.

yeah maybe a bit Aspberger-ish. Realistically it's more like a personality type on a scale than a condition with a clear cut-off. And also, your brain can grow out of it physiologically as you get older, which I think may have happened if I were ever aspie to any significant extent.
But getting out in general to me is a recent thing, a lot of dicks over a long time had grown in me an aversion to people.

Also, it's may be also a culture thing like the one person mentioned. I am the kid of immigrants, and I know their culture rubbed off on me and my friends-from-this-culture. And in general my parents are weird and didn't know how to direct me in American life. They married the first person from their weird country when they were really young and never really grew up, never had to learn the ins and outs of American life.

And part of that weirdness and part of what makes me NOT want to be TOO boisterous and outgoing is that people like that in general and my Dad in particular, can have the personality of a ****ing drill to the brain. ****ing hyper-active D-bags, almost freaking out all the time, never taking the hint.
Lulz, if my Dad had had to grow up and actually work for people and live with roommates and live like a normal American, he'd have gotten some pretty solid lessons in the form of punches in the face. He's completely insufferable. He wouldn't survive in a bar.

Talk 90% about her, 10% about you. Let her do most of the talking, just prompt her and stay engaged and make jokes about what she is saying when appropriate.
