In '08 Obama brought this state to the front stage of being a swing state and it seemed like a good idea. Now I feel nothing but sympathy for what the other long time swing states have to deal with every 4 years.

My state only has 3 electoral votes... They generally leave us alone.
It almost got up to 40 today. Be a bit of a shock as I'm going directly to Costa Rica when the season closes on November first. At noon. Alaskan standard time. Not that I'm looking forward to it or anything.
