I bought a box of both couscous and quinoa, and I want to see how they taste, but I'm really curious why quinoa is considered a healthy alternative.
Make sure you rinse it really really really good or ack!. Obviously, I didn't rinse mine good enough. So far more trouble than it's worth.

lol I"m making it right now.

I just pan-fried some chicken breast with a little onion, carrots and broccoli with a little salt and cracked black pepper. My quinoa is currently boiling.

Should have planned this better lol.

I just had my meal and I have to say that I'm impressed. I ate a lot, but it feels like I didn't eat that much.

The quinoa came out really well, but it did come from a box that had tomato and basil seasoning with it, but it was pretty tasty.

It's good to do that if it's not flavored with anything. I bet it does take on additional flavors like with stir fry or curry.

I do plan on buying this more often. I find it pretty tasty and it does fill me up and give me plenty of protein.

Did your's come flavored? the more I eat, the more I think it might only be good as a cereal replacement or some such. It taste ok with the shrimp, I'm just not loving it. I have enough protein drinks to get my protein, I really wanted it to replace my carb sides, but it's not going to work for me. It is very filling though. Think I'll just have to have a small servings of rice or pasta once or twice a week and be done with it.
