That's funny you say that because my neighbor is a chef and she always makes that joke that she could spend her whole paycheck on cheese at Whole Foods
Oh my goodness...I get in that store and I just want to buy everything.
I do LOVE their freeze dried fruit. That stuff is YUMMY
4 in that pic, but 5 now. She's been raising hell at school all week in her first week of Kindergarten. Bad reports from the teacher almost every day.
I used to teach Kindergarten. Her teacher is a tool. Every K student is going to have a rough time, it's not an indication of their true behavior. This is a HUGE change in their lives and they aren't #1 anymore. Some kids have a hard time with that.
Seriously...it makes me want to smack that teacher!

This school has a folder system. And they send a folder home every day, and based on the color of the folder that's how your kid did in school that day. What's even stranger is that a Green folder is bad for some reason. Weird color system
But yeah she's been having a hard time lately because her parents are going through a divorce.

They still use that?!?! Although for my time, blue and red were the worst with green being the best and yellow being a warning.

We always did Green = Go
It's the communication folder...it "goes" from school to home and from home to school every day. They have a daily report inside the folder.
Using color coded folders is not something I would implement. That's like publically ridiculing the child because they all know Susie took home the "naughty" color that day. Daily progress should be between parent and teacher ONLY.
