Oh yeh...

As if it wasn't bad enough as is.

Nice little failure I found today is that FB just decides to send friend requests for you.

Checked the IP logs on FB
Reviewed all dat files on my machine
Scanned and went over it with a fine toothed comb manually through active and hidden processes
Changed passwords just in case
Researched online and it happened to others...

So before you flip the f out on anyone about friend requests....do you research.
This happened to my acct today and has happened to others.

Whatever happened did not come from my machine or any other for that matter.
Something with FB's coding or servers.

Facebook got to be too much. It got real irritating after I saw a huge surge in commercialism. The whole format seemed to change- I thought that it was odd that all these people started to look the same as far as presentation...How could this happen? Well it was not the people that changed it was facebook that manipulated a change...Also it became to complex to delete things...or to cancel an account. Frankly- I found out that facebook was becoming an increasingly uncontrolable personal record...Eventually a woman that I met in real life...started to stalk me electronically...and was collecting anything that might have been indiscreet or out of context...then threatened me with this garbage- I cancelled my account immediately....She got so angry she started sending me E-mails that were disturbing.....Better to keep your life under control and not hand over yourself to this machine.

Someone hacked into your account. Don't blame Facebook for it.

Don't get me wrong. Facebook has a lot of problems. Sending friend requests without your permission is not one of them.

I work in IT. I would know if it was hacked because of how my acct is set up and the data I had access to.

Coding errors WILL do this.

Google around about all the other coding failures of FB.

All the poor kids who post pictures of themselves smoking a joint- or drunk or bragging about something that might be illegal on face book don't understand that they are creating their own pseudo criminal record...Get your face out of face book and maintain your privacy ....Do your really want to be denied employment because of facebook...or be prejudiced politically for what you say on facebook? For me it does not matter_ I am old and my future is almost non- existent...Facebook is one of the nasty fingers of Big Brother.

So what? Prove it, and then take it up with Facebook.

And date people who are more mature than to wig out over a friend request.

I really don't see where it creates any more drama than what people already create for themselves.

I can see where this can create drama in your life if you have an over jealous SO's. But all I am going to say is this... if your SO is that jealous over a friend request... its time to drop that loser and move on to someone who is a little more mature.

Pffft. Proved it to myself.

That is all I need. They can pay me if they want to fix their problems. I don't do charity.

I am putting this out there for all the people who deal with it. Parents, the immature, the professionals and anyone else who has personal values or a public image to uphold.

Back in the real world..people have emotions and don't play "i am too mature for emotions"

Don't act like most people would not be questioning some types of people being added.
Idealism only happens on the internet in faux self reflection and story books.

It will create more drama than what would naturally take place in the real world. You are dealing with a silent faceless disembodied person when you communicate electronically. People will say mindless and cruel things because there is not an immediate in the flesh reaction from the other person..That would curb their behavior and cause them to pause and think- It's different than the real world. Needless drama is more apt to happen.
