yes number matters. If she's been with 50 men, that either means she can't bond with men through sex anymore like a virgin can or that she was addicted to the bonding rush and did it 50 times. So what makes you think #51 is going succeed where the first 50 failed?

Also, usually if men or women have a high number of sexual partners, there is a correlation to them having a high probability of having commitment issues. (a man or woman CAN really like sex while being in relationships. I don't understand how people can REALLY like sex so they sleep with 100 people. IME people that really like sex that dont' have commitement issues stay in relationships longer. And they don't relationship hop as much) The reason these men or women have so many partners is due to many many short term relationships that they back out of over and over again, finding whatever imperfection/excuse they can to blame the break up on.

LOL...I didn't start dating until I was 24, so if I had started in high school or college like most people, the number would probably be higher. Also, penises scare me so it's not hard for me to avoid them.
