Yeah, the most important thing I learned from that movie is that you DON'T tell a Southerner he sleeps with his sister(s).

This is the oddest post I've seen since I joined C-D, and that's saying a lot.

Reminds me of an typical Joss Whedon characterization method: anyone who smokes is either a bad guy or will die in the first act.

Where do you people come up with this stuff?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A woman's smoking habits have no effect on how "easy" they are... to me.

Next Question / Poll

Are women with Cats friendlier than women with dogs...

...and cats?

There was a study several years ago that showed that smokers were statistically more promiscuous than non-smokers. Yeah, it sounds strange, but there is a link via the brain's addiction/pleasure centers. Of course, this isn't necessarily true for any individual, but as a group, yes.

Yep, and I LOVE those studies done by univ. psych. depts. who have to publish or perish:
- smoking and promiscuity
- women liking "bad boys" while ovulating
- etc.

Yet, when I quote them or allude to them here, people get MAD ...

Tried to find a link to confirm this. Couldn't.

However, I can say I've personally never known a smoker who I didn't at least get this vibe from, if not know this to be true of them. I think it's some third factor influencing the inclination to do both, though, not that one leads to the other or anything *starts singing "Born to Be Wild"*

Idk about all that, but in general I find smokers to smell bad, have bad breath and bad teeth. I generally dont want to associate with them, I hate going into their offices and I refuse to drive them anywhere or drive with them anywhere.
