Real leaders Lead. They don't say that they should lead.
Most guys I have met who have felt the need to say that "men should lead" were rather insecure control freaks who were looking for someone to walk all over.
Real men do what they have to do. They earn their right to lead. They prove that they are worthy of leading (not that they seek to prove anyway). They don't seek to control other people.
I have a huge banner hanging in our home office, all blingy, that says in giant letters "WHO DAT NATION." As we speak, I am having the diamonds and platinum from an old ring reset as a fleur de lis pendant - can't wait for it to be finished!
It's ridiculous. Our entire home office is in black and gold, and the sign on the door says, "Bourbon Street." We are mentally deranged.
I'm a New Orleans native. That explains a lot about me...
Not to get into it again, but I just wanted to add that each religion looks at different bible quotes differently. In terms of leadership, some churches allow women to do anything including being a minister, some allow them some leadership but not all (The Catholics allow women to have leadership roles but not to be priests)and some don't allow women any leadership roles at all (my ex boyfriend and a friend attended a church where women were not allowed to vote in church elections, or even lead the womens group).

Ahhhh, yes, it's one of the years that it's painful to be a Saints fan...so I'm enjoying rooting for LSU loudly and obnoxiously.
'Dem LSU Tigers, now THEY know how to lead
