I chose to be this way because I want to let go of emotional desire (or desire in general).
"Pleasurably touching oneself" and looking at porn is desire that I think is really unnecessary outside of "making out to make babies".

I'm guessing, you're a Buddhist or a Hindu? Their whole philosophy seems to revolve around renouncing worldly affectations and desires and breaking the cycle.
