Are you talking about sexual orientation or labels?
Sexual orientation is something that many gay people have a hard time coming to terms with because of their friends, family, and society in general. Coming out as gay may mean being cut off from your family, being discriminated against, losing friends, etc.
In terms of labeling people - I guess I just don't get the point.
Not just sexual orientation, it involves everything.
People can still be labeled, and not be sheep.I think of labels, helping someone define who they are for other people's benefit. What I am saying is actions speak louder than words, and those people who do not like being label actions are speaking pretty loudly.
But aren't labels... words? If actions speak louder than words... well... then...
I'm really trying to understand you - but it's really, really hard.
I read the OP as saying that some people eschew labels to avoid the judgments associated with them. However, some people really are just sexual and bi, hetero, and homo just doesn't seem to work for them. I don't see why it matters, though. Like Dew said, people are what they do. Someone can claim to be loyal, hardworking, homosexual, etc., and they may still act outside of their self-professed label. I've also seen people who don't want to label their relationships - that can be an excuse to keep an open-ended courtship or it can be a pair who see themselves as transcending the routine of "relationship." Regardless, it is what it is and people are who they are. It goes beyond words. And I can't believe I'm posting on this thread again. I wouldn't label myself as someone who... posts on threads that mean nothing to me.

People of this society is a big contradiction. And those that are bigger contradictions are the those that hate being called certain thing ,but their actions speak of that very same thing they hate being called
Take for instance a murderer: If a person that murders innocent people for the hell of it, and evidence proves that said person is a murderer, but he will reject the label cod blooded killer because he does not like it because "it's a label"

Do you know a lot of murderers and "straight" men that only sleep with she-males?
Geez! When I think of labeling people - I think of things like "hipster" or "yuppie." But I don't really see the point. If I want to describe someone - I'll just describe them. I might say she dresses like a "hipster" which might help someone understand - but I would never say something like "all hipsters are xyz."
Again - can't really understand where you are going with all of this... Is there something that sparked your anger? Was it a cold blooded killer or man that likes she-males (which is not really what they like to be called)?

No. I was just curious, and as I mention before labels can be for anyone, sweetie. And maybe you just choose not to understand me,but that's okay.

P.S. Those were only examples,sweetie.
Well, snookums, I'm not the only one confused by your posts.
Is English your second language? Because that might explain why we are having a hard time understanding you.
