Nope, I'm only a Malaysian by nationality, I was born there. Ethnically I'm not related to the Malay group of peoples at all. My mother's ancestors probably came from Guangdong province in Southern China to work the rubber or tin when the British controlled the country.
A woman straight up told me in a somewhat unpleasant manner "I don't date black guys."
That's good enough for me! Honestly, I've been rejected more for being short than being black. There's always chocolate-curious women and chocolate-hating women so I don't lose sleep on it.

Yeah, I've been told that before, but never in a rude way. It's no skin off your back, you wouldn't want to date someone like that anyway, I'm sure.
Also, about being short. Check what the Chinese are doing these days to remedy this. Of course it's banned now but that doesn't stop people form doing the operation.

I would gladly stay single for the rest of my life without a care in the world for the opposite sex if this surgery becomes the standard for successful dating. Not one single woman on this planet is worth the pain and risks of leg-lengthening surgery.
I've never been told outright to my face by a woman that she's rejecting me because of my race, however, if I see her swooning or giving her number out to some dorky guy that I know I'm better than, right after she has rejected me, then I assume it's my race. It's not often that this happens but I've seen it from time to time over the years.
I realize that ultimately I can never know the truth about the matter, but I don't care enough to find out.

I hate statements like this because it assumes that ALL women want the same thing or they are supposed to be attracted to what you have to offer. I personally love a cute, nice, sexy dork and actually prefer them over overly confident guys! Has nothing to do with race.
If a person doesnt want to date someone just because of their race/ethnicity, thats their loss.

Attractiveness isn't all there is when it comes to dating/relationships for many people. I don't know why people here think race shouldn't be important, almost as if they're implying people only partnered within their race due to historical conflicts.
