Curious as to how often this has happened to guys IRL. I am not looking for hypothetical situational responses, more interested in IRL and how you felt/handled it.
Say you are at a bar, and you are with your friends and your gf. Your gf at the time doesnt really know anyone.

Has she ever just walked away from you, and walked over to someone and just started chatting up another guy ? How did you deal with it ? Let's 'assume' there was no phone numbers exchanging, or hook up implied, or anything goin on behind your back. Lets just say she was bored or whatever, and starts chatting with someone in the bar.
Maybe it is a total random guy, maybe it is a friend of a friend of yours, for simplicity, let's just say it is with anyone. (does it matter ?)

In either case, you are NOT part of the conversation, as you can not hear what is going back and forth. Is this a normal trust case where you just have to trust the s/o is just creating conversation for the sake of being in a public place?

I haven't personally had but one s/o I was in a LTR do this, but I certainly thought it was quite different behavior, especially compared to my other LTR's.
For example, usually if my s/o did this, although unplanned or assumed, I was directly a part of the conversation. It has always just happened as such, except for the one time.

And for the record, no, I am not a control freak, I guess I am wondering if somehow I have usually consistantly dated more reserved women, and the one exgf that did do this was more outgoing (especially compared to my previous exgf's), as opposed to doing something, kinda... weird.

Sure. Happens all the time. And I would expect it especially if I am off doing something else like playing pool.

I have no problem with that.
