When a question like this shows up this is how it makes me think :

Quality Men as in Grade A "human stock"?

You mean if they have a skin blemish, too short, too tall, too round, too flat, doesn't sweat enough, sweats too much, his shoe size (amongst other selfish factors fit for a different thread) doesn't meet the inspection then means he's then a reject?

What's attractive to one is unattractive to another.

Quality? I have "swirling thoughts" about that one.

Although not everybody thinks like this, the majority definitely do.

My good buddy comes from a family of doctors (he is not one) and he married a doctor. A good gal, really humble. I was at a wedding with her recently between two other doctors. She was trying to convince me that they would have gotten married whether one or neither of them were doctors...

I didn't have the heart (or stupidity) to tell her that her own husband probably wouldn't have married HER if she wasn't a doctor. He's a good guy too.

The reality is that it is a meat market. If you don't want to compete, then find someone else who isn't playing the game. Good luck in finding those people (good luck to me too).
