If so many people are struggling to find someone, then why are so many people struggling to find someone?
I have my own theory but I'll post it after a few responses
It's really hard to match up common interests, values, goals in life, want kids/no kids, issues vs. baggage-free, brain power, heart power, commitment level, and last, but by no means least, sexual compatibility! It's a miracle anyone manages to get together and stay together. Which most people don't--stay together, that is.
Dating in the US is fairly complex and difficult over all. Most people in the dating world, have super inflated egos, unrealistic expectations and are entirely too calculated about the entire process. Having traveled around the globe, I know that in many different cultures dating is much less calculated and much more spontaneous. Living in this culture, which promotes greed and sheepish behavior, its easy to see why the approach to dating is based on "what can you do for me" and "how can you enrich my life" type of nonsense.
Because the physically attractive women are only interested in dating the most attractive men in society, so 99% of men remain single.
People generally desire mates that are higher than themselves in characteristics such as wealth, social status and physical attractiveness but not ones who are lower so the ones who are lower in the social hierarchy do not stand a chance to attract a desireable mate.
It makes perfect sense you know why? Because 98% of all statistics are made up on the spot including the statistic I just made up right now.
hehe
