Whether it matters to her or not. I wouldn't want her going out with me if I don't have a way of supporting myself. If I ain't got a job, or a lot of wealth, then I'm off the market.

I don't know about a lot of wealth, but I agree with you. If I can not support myself and am not able to provide not only things that I need, but things that I want for myself, then I aint dating.

Depends on how he's handling unemployment. I know guys that just sit around on their butts, but when my one ex was out of work, he'd hustle like crazy to take side jobs that would bring in at least a little cash, and he'd literally hit the pavement, stopping in every place he could think of to ask if they had any openings. He was never unemployed for more than a couple of weeks. I have another ex who just sits in front of a computer and drinks beer when he's out of work, and he's about to lose his current girlfriend because of it.
