Would any of the ladies here around the age of 25-27 be open to dating a man younger than themselves if that man looked and acted older?

The reason I ask is because I have a few group of friends but my main best friend that I hang out with the most often is 37 years old so a lot of the women we meet and that he brings out are over my target range (preferably early 20s). I don't usually even try because I can't imagine a 27 or 28 year old wanting to date a guy my age.

The funny thing is I actually have 2 close friends who are 22-24 dating 27 and 28 year old women but I just write that off as very rare exceptions. What do you guys think?

Well I am "way" older than you are. And I am open to dating younger men that are at about my level of maturity and phase of life.

So I find people under around 27 or so are not in my stage of life. When I was 26-27 the 23 year olds weren't that different. But some are were immature. So it really depends on you. And where she is.

(For what it is worth, people tend to peg me as much younger, i.e. your age range).

That makes sense. I get along really well with a huge group of people so perhaps i would have a decent chance with the ladies who are around 25-26

My best friend is actually madly in love with a 28 year old. He is living at her house and he's only 24 himself

Yeah, that's hardly anything.

I am 34...23 years olds are like an eternity for me. You guys didn't even have Saturday morning cartoons. You guys make me feel old!

I met my now husband when I was 28 and he was 24 - so yes it happens. We are now 37 and 33.

I'm 38 and my closest friend is a 32 year old male. My late husband was 7.5 years older than me and I do tend to be drawn to older men but I am not opposed to dating younger, but my limit would probably be 30.

I did, for many years. We started dating when he was barely 18 and I was 23, and I don't think I'd date a much younger man again. As others said, we are simply in different life stages.

Well to be fair, there's a huge difference in 18 vs 23 and say 27-23

There are a lot of women around the age of 27 who don't have their stuff together at all...I think I'm fairly established for my age

Age differences matter only if you are too young to realize that they don't matter.

It's all about experience: the thrill of victory the pain of defeat.

Maybe for some... but most of the 23-25 year old men I know are still partying it up and being idiots in general. Most of them are nowhere near good relationship material, but they might be when they grow up a bit.
