A lot of people think that the majority of couples are more-or-less evenly matched. I don't personally agree with this assumption. But i know many of you feel that couples are fairly even in terms of attractiveness and quality. So how does the pairing go?

Do couples pair off based on equal levels of physical attractiveness for both parties (good looking women with good looking men, average-looking women with average looking men, etc)?

Or do couples pair off based on the woman's physical attractiveness and the man's financial status (good looking women with rich men, average-looking women with men of average finances, etc.)?

You didn't provide enough options in the poll. What if we don't agree with the premiss at all?

Your poll is missing many other important variables and combos like education/education; education/wealth; etc.

Not enough options or sufficient data. There are lots of gorgeous women out here with your average blue-collar Joe, and there are lots of booger-bear-ugly men out here with gorgeous women as well. Just because a woman is fine doesn't mean her man is the equal physically or financially. You need to write this poll all over and start anew.

I tell my girl her looks got her her first date, her intelect (IQ:140, several points higher than mine) got her her second!

We laugh about this, but it's fairly accurate.

For her I think it's a trifecta of intelect, money (I'm not Rich, but I have enough to do what I choose) and looks.

Sex drive is important to us both.

In short:
Poll fail!

But I bet it was your humility and strong quiet confidence that really sealed the deal.

It has to do with more than just looks and/or money.
