The "it's their business" is played and lame! It's best to just admit that each individual has their choice of morality (things that are and are not "acceptable" in their eyes).
If my bff robbed stores, sold drugs for extra change, was a heroin addict or a pedophile, "it's their business" would take on a different meaning, no?

You need to communicate with him and tell him it makes you uneasy-If it does, it does and this puts you in the middle of it-Women are smart and there is a chance his wife might show up on one of the "date nights" and it will not be pretty to boot. As for your BF's character-Many male friendships esp long-term like this ones the men have a strong bond that they do not judge each other and the friendship is nearly unconditional. He certainly should not stop hanging around his best friend despite his friend being in the wrong. And he is. He is living a double life. it does not mean your BF will do the same. What is more relevant here is your BF compromising and understanding why this makes you uneasy. if he cannot this would be most reflective of his character, Not the other man's situation.
