Psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich's life story as told by wikipedia.

Shortly after his birth the family moved south to Jujinetz, where his father took control of a cattle farm leased by his mother's uncle, Josef Blum. Reich wrote extensively in his diary of his sexual precocity. He maintained that his first sexual experience was at the age of four when he tried to have sex with the family maid (with whom he shared a bed), that he would regularly watch the animals have sex, that he used a whip handle sexually on the horses while masturbating, and that he had almost daily sexual intercourse from the age of 11 with another of the servants. He also wrote of regular visits to brothels, the first of which took place when he was 15, and said he was visiting them daily from the age of around 17. He also developed sexual fantasies about his mother, writing when he was 22 that he masturbated while thinking about her.

He was taught at home until he was 12, when his mother was discovered having an affair with his tutor, who had been living with the family. Reich wrote about it in 1920 in his first published paper, "Ueber einen Fall von Durchbruch der Inzestschranke" ("About a Case of Breaching the Incest Taboo"), presented in the third person as though about a patient. He wrote that he would follow his mother when she went to the tutor's bedroom at night, feeling ashamed and jealous, and wondering if they would kill him if they found out that he knew. He briefly thought of forcing her to have sex with him too, on pain of threatening to tell his father. In the end he did tell his father, and after a protracted period of beatings she committed suicide, for which Reich blamed himself.

If they made a H.P. Lovecraft horror story set to porn, they would take all the stories of psychoanalysts of the past and write a porno script. I should point out that Wilhelm Reich stripped away the body armor of his patients by having them do their psychotherapy session without clothes.

Liar. They can get women, just not the ones they want. Be for real.

Don't sit there and say they 'can't' get women. Funny how you see a woman just spreading for any man as "valid" but not a man picking some woman that's way off the meter in the looks department as also valid.

No because any women no matter what she looks like can get sex anytime she wants. I honestly don't believe that's the case for most men. I'm not talking about relationships, I'm saying strictly sex.

The sex industry doesn't degrade anyone. It degrades sex.

You are right, it is the reality. It's called "competition", and it's a part of our very nature.

I won't speculate whether or not porn is life imitating art or vice versa, but the simple fact of the matter is that we, as a species, have become more adventurous over time, and sexual desires that might have been deemed "satisfactory" a few decades ago no longer is.

There's nothing you can do about it, if you chose not to compete, you have to face the consequences of that choice.

I think the porn industry in general actually encourages a bit of degradation toward women. When I say "a bit" I mean the milder forms; there are always gross exceptions which take things way too far -- but I also always remind myself that women who do this stuff start low on the totem pole (so to speak) and as they work upward (assuming they stick around) make a LOT of money and tend to start avoiding the harder stuff.

Overall I think porn is damaging to women AND to men, just not in the same ways all the time.

One of the benefits of viewing porn, knowing what is not for you. I always wondered how Dr. Drew Pinsky was able to listen to beautiful women in his sex clinic talk about their sex addiction without becoming sexually aroused. I always wondered if he asked for all the explicit details. One of the porno themes they have not discovered yet. A claiming mother who's son threatens to become a porn star because his mother doesn't love him. He films his sexual exploits forcing his mother to watch his prowess. Then there is the mother who belittles her gay son. He forces his mother to watch his seduce married men or supposedly heterosexual men into homosexual liaisons on video. There are certain mothers and women who need to be humiliated for degrading their sons.

Another porn theme, women who have been sexually abused by their father or uncle or a close family friend. They marry losers/flounders that other women do not want to match their already low self esteem. The men they marry are closet homosexuals who engage in the more disgusting homosexual sex outside of marriage which ends their marriage. It also causes public humiliation. They need themes like these in porn movies.

I always thought they should have added a pornographer character to the soap opera "Days Of Our Lives." Exactly what he does is a mystery, he always leaves people guessing on what exactly he does. He simply says he is in the adult film industry or the he writes erotic poetry or novels.

Man a male virgin is the equivalent of a modern day leper to some folks.

Look the problem is not porn is the reliance and addiction. You are bringing up certain cases that could not even be an issue or extreme depending on it. Look man porn has been around since ancient humans figured out how to draw it is not going to disappear and it wont anytime soon

So saying no porn is not going to solve the "issue" of male virgins.

Tell that to the elderly, morbidly obese woman on the scooter at Walmart. Yes that counts as a female too.

Men can also get sex any time they want. Thy just have to tell outrageous lies or pay for it.

I am not sure why "instant sex" carries such currency with some men. Would you really want to have sex with every woman you see?
