The pre-nup doesn't apply to what is purchased after marriage. Conclusion: don't marry.

We had another guy who was pushing prenups for everyone. Is this a 2nd account?

Why are you still arguing this? I already agreed all these things should be discussed in advance. Why are you picking on me? It's the OP you should be arguing with. Or put up your own thread or poll about whether or not prenups should be standard.

Why is there this tendency on internet forums: if a guy encounters conflicting views from a female poster and a male poster, he goes for the jugular on the female, but act all mellow around the guy poster with the opposing views. I see this a lot.

I did cite a bad example. For that I apologize. But you do say that you are picky.

And i don't DM very often. The only way I would have learned why you did so would have been like this. Again, I'm not upset nor angry or bitter or anything you may or may not be thinking. But realize that it's a strange event that I lose friends.

Anyhow, enjoy your life. I'm done with this conversation.
Christ, fine. Whatever. Just don't talk about me again or I will report you.

This has been recommended to women since the beginning of the women's movement. Marriage is too big a risk for women with investments of any sort.

What has been recommended? Not marrying? If so, that's smart. But even with a pre-nup you end up losing a lot after divorce. Unless of course, the couple decides to live apart and never make major purchases together.

Why are two of my fave posters arguing with each other? Chill, people. Or take your issues to DM's, please.

Yes, of course. Not marrying has been advocated for women of means for 30 or 40 years.
