I have dated more as a single mother than I ever did as a single childless woman.

Figure that one out, OP.

Since when have I been able to figure anything out about the female population? Just saying.

Yea i agree, there are tons of hot single moms out there. I don't see the big problem. Likely if a single mom is having trouble finding someone, it has more to do with mediocre looks or a bad personality. I highly doubt that the majority men are going to pass by an attractive woman with a great personality just because she has a kid. But a few of the ladies here say otherwise.
I would pass up a woman with a kid. I don't want any of my own so it wouldn't make any sense to get into a relationship with a woman that already has a kid.

I have not observed this trend elsewhere. Seems like single mothers in the general population (outside of CD relationships forum) don't have much trouble getting men. It's not a deal-breaker for me nor for any other men i know. So i am just wondering whether anyone has firsthand experience to either confirm or deny the idea that men pass by single mothers.
There is a difference in getting any kind of man and getting a quality man. Yeah a single mom can get dude who has a pulse. But a man who has options is not going to usually go for single moms. And yes this has been discussed on here almost as much as "would you date a different race?" or "are striaght men who sleep with gay men really gay?".

If you watch a woman or get to know her. You will understand her ups and downs. And what makes her tick and what irritates her.

Same as a man.

Your right people have optitons and it takes a quality man (or woman) to accept a ready made family. IMO these men/women have a little something special about their character as opposed to men/women that feel superior to single parents.
