Have you dated (or fell in love with) someone who was 'beneath' you? If so, how? Was it their education level, apearance, financial status, family background or other consideration that you believe wasn't as good as you? How did you handle it?
I knew one guy who stated he only dated 'ugly and fat' females. stating that the benefit is that you are always the attractive one and the best that person is going to get
I can't vote. I don't consider anyone beneath me. Maybe you can include that in the choices.
I agree with rhacer, in other words.
I think this is a very nice, if somewhat deceptive statement.
Everyone has standards. Everyone has unwritten rules on who they would or wouldn't date. If the opposite were true we would all be dating the homeless dudes on the corner
I don't consider anyone to be "beneath" me, or "above" me. We're all people.

Yeah.. I agree....
I think we've gotten a little to PC these days.
I personally, don't wanna hang out with a crackwhore missing teeth...... sorry to be judgemental.....
There's a difference between standards and a "caste" system. Yes, I absolutely have standards, but it is quite possible for anyone from any walk of life to meet or fall short of those standards.
Everyone has standards and preferences and thats great but if you see others as being beneath you, then you have alot of work to do on yourself before being ready to date in the first place. Just because someone is worse off than me, at any givent moment, doesnt make them beneath me.
From the great Bob Marleys tune Forever loving Jah, comes this excerpt
"and what has been hidden from the wise and the prudent, and revealed to the babe and the suckling...."
You should have no problem figuring out how that fits under this topic
