I am a guy and have one badass cat. Thing about cats is, they have tons of personality, you have to actualy earn their affection and they are low maintenance. Any guy who buys a dog in order to pick up ladies is quite simply a no game loser. You guys may have seen this before:
The funny thing about the stereotype that people with multiple pets (cats) are desperate and lonely, whenever I watch Animal Hoarders, a lot of these people are surprisingly married or in relationships.

You can easily find the kind of dog you want in the ASPCA or any animal shelter. If you want a specific breed, they can usually help you locate one in another shelter. There are also rescue centers for specific breed, like Pit Bull Rescue, Boston Terrier Rescue, etc. I'm sure there are loads of rescue centers in your area.
I dont think that animals make a person sexy or crazy. Although I know some people that are maybe not normal that have a bunch of cats or dogs.
So, presently I have 7 cats. I dont particularly like cats. Three of them will on occasion lounge around the house. Thats ok because I heard some scurrying between the walls the other night. One, that I like, lives in the barn. She had kittens before I could get her fixed. I've still got 3 of her kittens. Dont have the heart to shoot them.
I've never had a bf, SO or DH that owned a cat or dog. Good thing, because I have always had enough animals for both of us. I do find a man that likes animals and children sexy. And I think people that put clothes on animals and carry them around or push them in strollers are not normal.
I am a woman who has cats because they are efficient, cost-effective, low maintenance, very portable, and not overly dependent or too emotionally needy. And they can't bark. I like pretty much the same qualities in a man.
