I had to reread two times and I am sorry but I have to agree with the other posters..
Technically she had been single for 5 months since you started talking to her.
2 years is quite some time and if she left the relationship for infidelity issues? Then most likely she is still harboring some type of feelings maybe hurt, angry and yes even a little feeling left for the guy.
IF she did state what she did on twitter? Then most likely she wanted him to read it?
If it were me? I would not wait any longer, you have already been talking for 3 months, I would ask her again if she still had feelings for him and why I am asking ( Mentioning twitter) I may not get a direct answer however I would at least know what to do moving forward.
