Actually, this woman may have been 175 lbs and short, so definitely not 300, but still heavyset.
I think there's an improvement in most cases.
All things being equal, I prefer to talk to women who are showing cleavage to women who are not. Women who are showing cleavage and some mid drift are even better, and women who are doing both of those while wearing tight pants or a mini skirt are the best of all. So to answer your question, I'd say yes.
