I assume you mean engagement ring, since most couple's buy each other's wedding bands.
An engagement ring is a gift, so no, I'm not paying for half of it.
Fortunately, out in the real world, there are real-life men who don't have issues with making such a purchase, and nickel-and-diming their future wife. My SO surprised me with an engagement ring and proposal this year. He shopped for several months to find the perfect ring to show his love for me, and I was completely unaware he'd even been looking. It's beautiful, he won't tell me what it cost because what he paid isn't my concern, as far as he's concerned. It's a gift, a token of his love, and that's all I need to know.
What's next, counting out the squares of toilet paper to make sure you only use your 50% of it?
Wait? You DON'T do that? You must be one of them traditional women folk. This here's 2012 - almost 2013. You wanted equality - but not when it comes to toilet paper? Cherry pick much?
The word "womyn" is a word as well and has been used for some time; though in scholarly articles albeit. thought you meant the word "man" or "woman" but yes it is biological but so are hemophordites.

Actually, I believe in total equality in toilet paper. You get one side, I get the other!
Noun
Nonstandard spelling of “women” adopted by some feminists in order to avoid the word ending -men.
Womyn isn't a word. It's a pretend word so feminists can feel that they aren't be exposed to sexism. That's like saying irregardless is a word.
You do know that words were made up as the world grew right? There are some words now in the dictionary that were not there 10 years ago. It's not pretend, it's a word. I can make up a word right now and if I get enough people saying it, I could petition for it to be published in the dictionary and it could. Hope you knew that. I don't believe the first person was given an English dictionary to go off of.
