Don't confuse a freeloader with a gold-digger. Most middle-class men don't come into contact with gold-diggers. Gold-diggers operate in circles most young men or average joes won't be part of unless they're Mark Zuckerberg or something. Your $60K salary is not that impressive to them. Neither is your $5 coffee.

Yeah, I've long since said this same thing, most women aren't getting ga ga over a guy making 55k and driving an 8 yr old Honda civic........
I guess you can keep track of how many times she reaches for her own money, for any reason. Men are expected to act a certain way when paying for dates, but relying exclusively on the man's wallet is an indicator.
Although real "gold diggers" wouldn't even look in the direction of the type of guys who wonder what a gold digger is. They're usually too occupied with athletes and executives and the like.
I agree that it is usually the men who don't have much gold to dig that worry so much about gold diggers...men who actually have money aren't focused on that and if it does happen can usually figure it out and do what they please with the situation...don't want to spend money then don't date simple as that!

That's living in poverty for a real GD. Anything less than 250k isn't even worth bring out the pick axe, never mind the shovel.
I'd bet that the vast majority of members here are not gold diggable....true gold diggers are very open about their intentions. You know the tall youthful blond with the "goggle eyed goldfish eyes" for boobs, dating/marrying the 70 year old CEO. What the majority here may encounter are just leeches, those who slowly suck the blood "money" out of you, until you figure it out. Sex will lay the fog bank which hopefully lifts sooner than later for you.

Good points. And I'd like to add that a woman wanting to be treated to a $20 dinner is also not a golddigger. A true golddigger would want that dinner in Europe after arriving on your private jet.

Gold-plated, maybe?
