I am afraid you have very little idea of the many subtle ways unhappy couples can "mistreat" each other.

Companionship isn't like air, I've been single awhile and generally hate being around people. Not looking forward to dealing with my idiot family this Christmas, I'd love to be alone.

Huh? Only my mom and my dad are here, my 1 sister is in NY, other sister and the rest of my family is overseas
