I think that poster has said something that I think most of the posters here really want to tell guys like the OP but don't want to do it.

It seems that shorter men are who I am attracted to! I am 5'10" with a large frame; Amazonian one might say. I have only ever dated one man taller than I (and he was waaaay taller than me--like 6'7"). My first crush when I was 12 (I was 5'6" at 12) was on a very cute Vietnamese guy. He was 5'2" or 3" at the most. My next big deal guy was 5'9"--again, shorter than me. Then came my husband (now ex hubby) who is 5'5". Next was a guy (10-month fling) who is exactly the same height as me. And now---my sweetie of 8 years steady is 5'6" or 7" at most. I guess I love men of these heights.

Perhaps I am not the norm, but it proves there are women out here who love guys that are less than average height (in the US). I don't see how height matters in the grand scheme of it all. Also---perhaps living where your height is more average would make you feel better (e.g. Mexico, Asian country, etc.).

I am sorry to hear about your friend's death, very sad.

personally i dont think 5'6 is that short, I'm 5'1 so I would date a guy at this height. When I'm with really tall guys sometimes I feel like a little play toy in comparison........Good things come in small packages that's what my mum always told me

It really is shocking sometimes the lack of compassion and basic kindness people have for one another.
No sympathy for the OP. Sorry if you misunderstood. The OP constantly complains about his height related issues. He needs help.

I don't know much about football but that commentator on SC always cracks me up. He's always wrong about game results but he's very entertaining.

My feeling is the Short Doctor doesn't like himself because of his height, and that makes it harder to form relationships with women.

When he looks at himself in a mirror, all he sees is a "short man".

I think if he started working on his physique, he would feel better about himself, and stop focusing on his height.

He obviously is concerned about his own physical appearance or he wouldn't have started so many "height" related threads.

So if his own appearance matters that much, I think he should work at making his body look as attractive as possible, by a combination of eating healthy, and working out at a gym.

Once he starts to really like how his body looks, his height will not matter as much, if at all.

And with this added confidence in himself, I think he will do much better with getting dates.

Short dudes like this blame all their romantic woes on being short, that way they can give up and blame society instead of realizing they just have stinky, bitter personalities.

I find "game" to be ludicrous. that two adults cannot connect without it is ridiculous

Have you watch this?
1- CHOICE Oprah "THIS IS GONNA SHUT YOUR MOUTH" ~ Take a Look - YouTube

This man was born with no arms or legs, but he is married and has a positive outlook in life. I'm 4'11 and not everyone wants to date a short woman like me. There are days where I wish I was taller, but I should stop complaining if I'm never going to do anything about it. There are plenty short men who are dating.
