We are not meant for dating women. Dating to a short guy is like running to someone in a wheelchair. It can't be done. It's a lose lose situation. You can make six figures, have a nice career, it doesn't matter. Find some other hobbies. Focus on making yourself better. And when I mean short, I mean 5'3 to 5'6 (I am the former). I was just at a funeral for the son of a colleague who committed suicide over the rejection and ridicule he faced for his height. For the record he was about 5'4 when I last saw him. This is too much. It's not worth it. Do something else with your life. Despite what the media and society preach, you do not need love to survive. If you are a short man, you will just have to fight on without it.

A significant number of those relationships compared to those between a woman and a taller man are not fulfilling. The woman is settling and both she and the short guy are aware of it.

How do you determine this?

Yeah, there's no denying it despite what women, other men, and the media says... dating is harder for short men. HARDER, not impossible. Sorry to hear about your friend though. 5'3 is pretty short, yes, but there's a lid for every pot.

I had a crush on a guy who was 5'1 and currently like a guy probably 5'4 or so and most of my exes were short. If I limited myself to men taller than me I'd never get a date.

Thats so sad!! i hate people who pick on others insecurities its just downright nasty and low!!

personally i dont think 5'6 is that short, I'm 5'1 so I would date a guy at this height. When I'm with really tall guys sometimes I feel like a little play toy in comparison........Good things come in small packages that's what my mum always told me
