Ehhh, maybe I'm just oblivious. That and I'm apathetic. Look all you want, what difference does it make?
Yeah I think guys look more than you think. That said it depends on age too I do it more at aged 34 now, than I did 10 years ago. Two reasons for that 1) More confidence 2) Don't really care what she thinks.
The fact that it's rude to stare at their body parts while you're talking to them isn't a motivator? Interesting.
Oh, no. It is rather rude to stare at their chests and other body parts. Looking a woman in the eyes when she talks is just something that I conditioned myself to do so long ago that I don't really even think about it anymore.
(When I was younger I never used to look anyone in the eyes when I talked to them; if I did, it wasn't for very long.)

In some cultures making eye contact is considered rude.
Like the Mescalero Apache, for instance. I live near their reservation. Eye contact is considered rude if you don't know them (and are on the reservation), but thankfully this isn't much of an issue off reservation. At least, that's MY understanding of how that custom works.
Oh, and for those of you who think shades help, they don't. I can tell when someone is staring like a 14-year-old, even if he's wearing mirrored glasses.
