Well I'm a beach girl, so summertime is my time.

Just got home from dinner and Jersey Boys. Great show!

And it makes me nuts when someone says, "You get an extra hour of daylight." Nooooo . . . there are still 24 hours in the day. There isn't an extra hour of anything. The time is just moved. Rather than have everyone do this, if you wanted your schedule changed by an hour all you'd have to do is wake up earlier/later to suit your needs.
When told the reason for daylight savings time the Old Indian said, "Only the government would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket, sew it to the bottom, and have a longer blanket."

Winter was pretty mild here. We only had some snow twice.Dec 20 we had about 8". Jan 10 we had about 5". I've had quite a bit of afternoon sunshine during the winter, here on the southside of the mountain at 2000'...

Have a beautiful day y'all.

Productive day so far.

Had to give my friend a jump, turned in some applications, got some ice cream and now I'm about to wash laundry and I have to do the dishes at some point.

I didn't get much either. I'm just used to getting 4ish hours on some nights.

Also, I'm just going to boost myself just a little more, I jumped my friends car in the pouring rain lol.

Man, whoever said Mondays' were bad? I couldn't sleep a wink last night thinking about what appeared to be a major septic problem and the potential hellish costs it would require to fix. Turns out it was just a busted underground pipe, $100 later and it's all good....whew, dodged a bullet for sure.

I sure did and it's funny sometimes how whether it be cars or appliances, or house repairs when one things breaks it just has a domino effect and other stuff follows right along. It's nice to catch a break once in awhile.
