Not that anyone is listening, but the party was great. I still have almost all those cups in tow. I won't ask what to bring next time around. All that cup drama for naught. The noise from all those many people was deafening, I was starting to get dizzy. Still glad I went, only one quiet awkward moment, managed to find something to yap about. PS, many had no idea what "Duck Dynasty" was. LOL

I only watched a couple episodes. I might have to watch some more of it.
We used to call those "dittos". They had that light purple ink..smelled good!
Dogs are HARD to foster. Kittens are super easy. I don't think I would have the time to properly foster a dog.
I teach math and science and while I do have them take notes, we do a lot of hands on. A LOT. It takes a lot of prep but they learn more that way and they can apply the concepts they have just taken notes on which has a bigger impact on them.
I teach fractions with fake pizza slices in real pizza boxes, a deck of cards, apple slices, hershey bars..etc. In science we recently covered motion and force and I did the whole unit using model cars that they manipulated. That was a lot of fun! Lessons like that take a lot of planning (a LOT!) but when they are young they have no concrete experience to draw from...you have to create that for them.
By failing I mean eleven years later she is still here.

They're far from some dumb I hate the term, but you know what I mean, D red necks. I enjoy the family dynamic, I realize the show is scripted, no one can be that entertaining in such a funny way all the time. Like they said, the show is along the lines of Seinfeld, much about nothing, but pretty dang funny IMO. They nearly have me appreciating gun ownership, well kinda, sorta, appreciating, might be going a bit far.

Yup, we have one like that now. He isn't going anywhere. I wouldn't let him leave either. Goofy beagle anyway.
