I was in therapy this morning, then a hot girl (well, I am nearsighted) came in and sat about 15 ft from my 10 o'clock direction. I couldn't help but started staring at her, and then she stared back. We were staring at each other for like 4 to 5 minutes until my therapist came back and he started talking to me (damn you). Few more minutes later, I was done and the secretary called me about my followup appointment. I told her I already got it. Turned around gave the girl one last look, and surprise she was looking at my way. I gave her a friendly smile and smile back. Then I left.

I know I know, I should have walk over and start a conversation. But she looks like a staff there and about to conduct some business. I don't want to look like a fool for hitting on the staff.

Do girls usually stare back when guys stare at them?

Yes, they tend to maintain eye contact while reaching for the mace. It's their hands you have to watch.

As a rule ... don't ask out anyone in your THERAPIST'S office.

And don't stare. It's not cool.

We usually think you're staring at us.

There is not "usual". If they like you, they might stare back. If they're not interested, they'll avoid your gaze and will think you're a creep. Staring is rude.
