I am 100% on board with celibacy for people who don't believe they should be financially or emotionally responsible for any children they may bring into the world if the other parent "can pay."

well if you see yourself as never being able to do anything right by a woman( as a potential husband, sex partner) or her family (critical in laws) and since an unwanted pregnancy is tied to legal ramifications, this type of thinking kind of makes sense

That wasn't the question. I don't care one way or another, really. It's your life and I respect your preferences either way. I'm just curious why it's relationships, celibacy, and children that you apply your "I'm going to die anyway so why bother?" philosophy to and not other endeavors like education and work.
