I've seen a guy do that once when I was in the Navy. He came out of the shower, sprayed the left side, sprayed the left side, sprayed the south side... And, couldn't get back into the shower soon enough...
NO THANK YOU. I had never tried it before, but after seeing the expression on his face, I am not about to try it.
Are you referring to putting cologne on his neck honey?
Or were you speaking of the posts above yours?
I know just as soon as I read the posts right above yours a vision popped into my head of a man spraying cologne on his manly danglies and it wasn't pretty. I immediately tried to force it from my mind.
I wore cologne regularly in junior high and high school, occasionally in college, and haven't touched it in the last 15 years or more. I actually sometimes forget that it even still exists. I always feel like I have too many chemical product smells on me already as it is with body wash, deodorant, after-shave lotion, etc. It seems most products "for men" are already loaded down with that stuff these days, so there's not much reason to add more to it.
Enjoy smelling scent, whether it be freshly showered fragrance or colonge on a man. Some colognes smell better than others of course, but the thing is like others have said, keep it light. No matter the brand, if one is wearing more than necessary, people will just want to avoid contact. Some men smell so good you just want to follow them around or fall right into them.
So many people without a clue: "You are not the best judge of how good you smell". "I only shower once a week and trust me, I smell great according to me".

Haha, I mean anywhere. I prefer the smell of skin and minimal unnatural scents. Between scented shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, laundry detergent, and what-have-you, most people are already perfumed enough for me.
