What kind of woman would want to have a relationship with one of these jokers?

Probably the same kind of people who date feminists.

There has to be someone to support the rights of men who get trampled on by the court system every day. No one is out there to protect their rights.

What is a man's rights activist?
If it is a man fighting the system for personal civil rights, for example in child custody/family court, I would find that a positive. If its a man whining about paying for a date or buying a engagement ring I'll pass.

I find that these types of men are extremely distrustful of women to the point where I'm not sure why they don't pursue an intimate relationship with another man.

Exactly. There is definitely a discussion to be had about changing gender roles and legal and economic and educational equality, but that isn't the discussion that the most vocal of the MRAs want to have. They're not trying to make any sort of positive changes. For them it's (generally anonymous internet) name calling, finger pointing, jargon, made-up statistics and general unpleasantness.

I'd ask him to explain to me, and back up with credible sources (not personal blogs), how men's civil rights are being trampled. Because to be honest with you, I just don't see it. If I'm going to take time away from protecting women's reproductive rights--which are most definitely under attack as evidenced by all of these ridiculous "personhood" and transvaginal ultrasound laws and proposals--I'd like to see something concrete to support. Otherwise, I suspect the whole "men's rights movement" is as others have said, a fingerpointing, namecalling joke. Certainly nothing on C-D has convinced me that it's anything more substantial than that.

I think the whole thing is just a front to get women back into the kitchen and out of the workforce where women feel trapped to remain in less than healthy relationships.

How about the fact that 96% of alimony goes to Women or that around 90% of child custody goes to women or the fact that women pay their child support less often than men. Or what about the fact that women commit domestic violence at around an equal rate to men, yet you don't see congress trying to pass a violence against men act.

What the hell is a male rights activist? I have been a male for 30+ years and even I have never heard of this.
